I guess I'm just kind of flustered. College is kind of like I thought it would be ... but at the same time it totally isn't. It still stinks leaving my family, but I almost feel like I'm making one big huge family here. I've already seen SOOOO many people I know, but I am meeting a ridiculous amount of new people.
At the temple, I was kind of thinking about the things that I can be doing to have a great experience and I really didn't what to do. I didn't have any idea what college would be like. I looked in the scriptures and flipped open to a verse in John.
5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? That was it. That was my answer. Jesus Christ is the way to having a joyful life. I fully intend to take this semester to grow closer to him and to learn to love with Christ like love. I can't wait to see how this all plays out. It's definitely going to be ... interesting.
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
College rocks. I'll be posting a debrief every night (if I can). Jesus Christ lives. His church is on the earth today! I'm so glad to be here at BYUI.
